Duties:
- Manage and develop a portfolio of real estate clients, leveraging portable business.
- Draft and negotiate complex retail and shopping center leases.
- Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements for retail and other real estate transactions.
- Prepare and review complex real estate documents, including easements and restrictive covenants.
- Advise clients on strategic matters related to leasing, acquisitions, and real estate litigation.
- Provide high-level legal counsel and solutions to clients on various real estate issues.
- Oversee and mentor junior attorneys and support staff in real estate practice areas.
- Foster client relationships and business development opportunities within the real estate sector.
Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in real estate law with a strong emphasis on complex transactions and client management.
- Proven track record of managing a portable business and client relationships.
- Expertise in drafting and negotiating complex real estate documents.
- Strong background in advising on leasing, acquisition, and litigation matters.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Admission to the Texas State Bar.
