POSITION: Development, Donor Engagement and Enrollment Strategy Manager
REPORTS TO: Chief Financial Officer
COMPENSATION: Pays up to $30 per hour

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business development, marketing, or similar.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Previous experience in Business Development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and Google Docs and the willingness and ability to learn programs required for the position.
- Experience in identifying profitable fundraising opportunities and potential donors.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and establish industry partnerships.
- Additional qualifications and/or alternatives as deemed necessary by the Board of Education and Administration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master of Business Administration Degree (MBA) preferred.
- Previous experience as a Business Development Specialist in the K-12 sector.
- Advanced knowledge of business development, marketing strategies, and brand expansion.
- Exceptional ability to analyze market trends and competitor behavior.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities, School Fundraising and Development:
- Set and achieve monthly and annual goals, including the number of face-to-face visits with donor prospects, number of gifts, number of new investors, number of new prospects in cultivation, total investments.
- Maintain documentation of fundraising activity and prepare monthly reports on progress for the CEO.
- Identifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards major gift donors and prospects including individuals, corporations, and/or foundations, through visits and other forms of direct personal contact in accordance with performance targets set in collaboration with OCS.
- Solicit a measurable number of gifts annually, while growing a pipeline of new opportunities to support future gift solicitations.
- Prepare fundraising committee activities, reports, and meeting agendas.
- Create opportunities to increase the visibility of OCS through strategic engagement, participation in events, and special initiatives. Collaborate with stakeholders and create donor-related materials including print and electronic appeals, stewardship communication, and meeting packets. Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy for both annual funds and special campaign initiatives. Collaborate with the SLT to align annual fundraising targets with organizational strategic objectives and budget.
- Establishes and maintains collaborative working relationships with OCS, development colleagues, and appropriate board members and/or other constituents to maximize the unit's total gift revenue, plan solicitation strategies, and leverage joint solicitation efforts.
- Assists and/or leads in short- and long-range strategic planning activities to create and implement fund-raising goals and objectives.
- Coordinates day-to-day unit-based development strategies and activities to ensure their integration into the school's overall development program.
- Makes effective use of the school’s prospect management database and other institutional resources to ensure appropriate management of donors, prospects, alumni, and volunteers in coordination with school objectives.
- Conducts research to identify prospects, with an emphasis on major gifts exceeding $1,000, and creates strategies to match prospects' interests to the priorities of the School.
- Research, writes, edits, and/or oversees the preparation of persuasive, accurate, and grammatically and syntactically correct solicitations, proposals, case statements, reports, correspondence, and other development-related communication materials in support of the School's fund-raising activities.
- Plans and conducts programs and activities designed to increase the visibility of the School to internal and external constituencies.
- May train and supervise staff and student employees, interns, and/or volunteers performing related work; may participate in the recruitment of volunteers, as appropriate to the area of operation.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Enrollment and Development Responsibilities
- Spearhead recruitment efforts for targeted enrollments as dictated by the program.
- Network as the representative of the school at various events to achieve fundraising goals.
- Determine an action plan for the strategic marketing of the school including billboards, radio, press, direct mail, social media, events, etc.
- Manage the social media content, including posts, etc.
- Identify opportunities to target donors and sponsors and develop relationships.
- Coordinate major events to support the choice recruitment including Open Houses, Back to School Events, Galas, School Spirit Events, etc.
- Responsible for building relationships with key stakeholders.
- Handle other duties as assigned by School.
