This position is classified as hybrid and will be filled in either Woonsocket, RI., Hartford, CT., Irving, TX., Northbrook, IL or Scottsdale, AZ. Additional locations may be considered.
Position Summary
The Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis position supports SG&A business expense management within CVS Health’s Pharmacy Services Segment (PSS). The position is a member of PSS FP&A’s core Expense Management team and will work cross-functionally with other Segment’s Finance teams in order to manage, plan, and report PSS business unit expenses.
The Senior Financial Analyst's primary business support responsibilities include:
- Performing month-end journal entries, variance analyses, and reporting;
- Working with business leaders and their direct reports to build yearly budgets and update quarterly forecasts;
- Assisting Senior Finance Management with 3-year strategic planning;
- Working with cost center owners to ensure business unit FTE rosters are maintained;
- Maintaining multiple ad hoc projects for finance and the business, tracking, analyzing, and reporting on the financial impact of current and proposed business investments.
You will work directly with cost center owners to align forecast timing and appropriate accounting practices, complete monthly variance analysis and reporting that will be used at regular Senior Management meetings. This position will support and work closely with HR, Accounting, Finance, and Operations to ensure accurate planning and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- 5 or more years of experience in an FP&A role or 3+ years in corporate finance or accounting.
- 5 or more years of experience with Microsoft Excel.
- 5 or more years of experience with SAP ERP products.
- Comfortable speaking to Senior Management and Executive Leadership.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required OR equivalent experience. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is preferred.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is: $60,300.00 - $132,600.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
