Boston Hill Advisors seeking Financial Advisor
Be a critical part of a team supporting an investment advisory business focused on assisting individuals and their families with financial goal setting, investment management, and legacy planning. Have responsibility for financial planning and client service. Ensure that the client experience exceeds the client’s expectations and that systems and processes are in place to support Boston Hill Advisors’ value proposition to clients in the Natick office.
Qualifications:
Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, or Economics along with a CFP certification and in good standing with FINRA. Additionally, candidate should have at least five years of experience analyzing client needs and developing customized investment recommendations for wealth management clients. Series 65 license is required.
Primary Duties:
Financial Planning (approximately 25-35% of the time)
- Serve as the primary liaison for assigned clients
- Assume primary responsibility to create a comprehensive financial plan for a prospect or client using eMoney or a comparable software
- Work with prospects and clients to troubleshoot information needs for financial plans
- Prepare all appropriate presentation materials to communicate the results to the client or prospect
- Oversee the activities of a shared Para planner and client service associate for assigned client relationships
- Handles confidential information appropriately and ensures that client confidentiality is maintained at all times
Client Service (approximately 25-30% of the time)
- Serve as the primary point person for all aspects of the client experience from onboarding new clients to new client follow-up, problem resolution, and regular client outreach. All in an effort to ensure best-in-class client service
- Oversee the activities of a shared Para planner and client service associate for assigned client relationships
- Handle the logistics for coordinating client reviews and communication for assigned client relationships
- Open and maintain client files ensuring their completeness
- Maintain the CRM and appropriate email lists for client mailings
- Assist in client reporting as needed
Sales & Support (approximately 35-50% of the time)
- Participate in prospecting with primary responsibility for bringing prospects through the closing process. Major initial focus to build critical mass in the geographic area.
- Develop and manage sales support staff to assist in managing the sales pipeline and ensuring success.
- Work closely with Managing Partners to manage the sales pipeline and ensure that all deliverables and actions needed to close a prospect are done in a timely manner
- Presenting at BHA events
General Support Consistent with a Small Business and All Hands on Deck
- Answer phones, greet clients and prospects, and help when needed
- Assist in mailings when needed

Event Management (approximately 5-10% of the time)
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events
- Organize and manage aspects of planned events
- Participate in event follow-up activities (schedule meetings and send letters)
