Job Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Print Production Analyst to oversee and optimize our client's print production equipment. The Print Production Analyst will be responsible for analyzing production data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's production equipment and meeting customer demands effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze print production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to print production, such as equipment utilization, throughput, and waste reduction.
- Collaborate with teams to develop and implement process improvements aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
- Coordinate technical training with clients.
- Conduct regular audits of print production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and liaise with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and maximize uptime.
- Generate reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and performance metrics to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in print production to drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, printing technology, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in print production operations, preferably in a role involving technical training, data analysis, and process optimization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify actionable insights.
- Proficiency in print production software and tools, such as Print MIS systems, Adobe Creative Suite, and color management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of printing industry standards, practices, and regulations is a plus.
- Experience with Canon and/or Konica Minota preferred.
