JOB TITLE:
Open Rank Tenure-Track Professor of Accounting
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Department of Accounting and Finance in the College of Business at the University of Wyoming invites applications for an open rank tenure-track position in Accounting beginning Fall 2025. We invite applicants with qualifications to teach and conduct research in any accounting discipline. The current teaching needs include tax and/or financial accounting at the graduate level.
Successful candidates will be expected to contribute to the strong teaching reputation of the department's faculty and publish high-quality peer-reviewed research in accounting and closely related fields.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ph.D. in Accounting or closely related field from an AACSB accredited program in hand by start date of employment
- Demonstrated potential for research publication in high-quality accounting journals
- Three or more years of university teaching experience in accounting or having completed a Ph.D within the last three years
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Evidence of on-going high-quality research productivity
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching
- CPA license
- Commitment to departmental, college, university, and professional service
