Our client, a well-established CPA firm, has an immediate need for a Senior Tax Associate.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with clients, listening and anticipating their needs.
- Ongoing training/learning and working with partners & team members.
- Financial statement preparation in QuickBooks and CSA.
- Tax planning and tax return preparation for individual and business.
- Payroll knowledge - assist clients, prepare or review returns.
- Sales tax returns – basic knowledge, prepare a few returns.
Education, Training & Experience:
- B.S. Degree in Accounting preferred.
- Five years public accounting experience minimum.
- CPA preferred, but not required.
- Strong Excel, Word, and QuickBooks skills; CSA experience a plus.
- Experience with tax software applications (preferably UltraTax CS).
