JOB SUMMARY:
Primary responsibility for performing financial analysis to be used by Division Ops team to assess financial and operational performance. Provides support in feasibility modeling, land development budgeting, annual planning, quarterly forecasting, historical cost and budget analysis, and expense performance comparisons.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists in the feasibility process by preparing models to support the Land and Finance teams.
- Conducts financial analysis to understand business drivers and competitive environment to help drive towards improving business results.
- Assists Land and Finance teams to reconcile land balances and development budgets.
- Assists in the preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual plan.
- Consolidates budget submissions from various departments and performs budget analysis.
- Reviews overhead performance and develops benchmarks to monitor performance.
- Prepares reports and analysis to management including, but not limited to variance reports and operational metrics.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent in related field).
- Certified Public Accounting License (active or inactive) preferred.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Related Functional Experience: Minimum 5-7 years public and/or corporate accounting experience.
- Good knowledge of GAAP, financial reports, and annual reports.
- Good analytical skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
