We’re seeking a high-energy Financial Analyst to support the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (JPO) and lead the Financial Management efforts on a more encompassing contract. This individual manages and executes projects and provides guidance and direction for specific projects or sub-tasks; reviews all documentation prepared by junior personnel; and is responsible for initial drafting of final project reports prior to submission for approval. This individual will prepare work products of high complexity and assume responsibility for coordination of subordinate activities, monitor project performance and staff relationships, interface with the client on a day-to-day basis, conduct performance reviews of other less experienced staff, and correct errors identified during the acceptance process.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide budget formulation, strategic planning, execution, financial analysis, accounting reconciliation, closeout and financial improvement and audit remediation (FIAR) support.
Participate in the financial management mission with the lens of continuous process improvement to support all phases of the PPBE process, meeting all DoD mandated timelines for submission of the PPBE activities related to the financial execution of the F-35 and other office support activities.
Lead efforts in preparing financial documents in support of execution, funds tracking, and audit activities such as reconciliation of unobligated and unliquidated funds.
Develop new policies, procedures, or process documentation to address identified gaps and existing audit findings and deficiencies.
Required Qualifications:
Must possess a minimum of twelve (12) years progressive experience in supporting financial management, change management, strategic communications, business process reengineering, data analytics, or financial management systems implementation initiatives, including three years’ experience managing projects.
Minimum five (5) years’ experience working with RDT&E, Procurement and Sustainment Appropriations or supporting ACAT 1 Program Office.
Experience with weapon system acquisition and managing investment funding.
Experience leading and training teams of 10+ personnel.
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business administration or other relevant business-related field accredited by an organization approved by the U.S. Department of Education.

Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM).
Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM).
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (n-ERP) System.
Air Force’s Financial Accounting Systems and Comprehensive Cost and Requirements System (CCaRS).
