Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company.
- 3 years of experience performing data analytics with SQL.
- Experience working with and analyzing data.
Preferred qualifications:
- Advanced degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience managing multiple projects.
- Experience working with product and engineering teams.
- Experience with R, SQL, spreadsheets, or similar analytics tools.
- Ability to develop and validate hypotheses, apply inferential/causal techniques, build rudimentary statistical models as appropriate, to drive business recommendations.

In this role, you will create and share critical research and insights into users, countries/markets, competitive landscape, key technologies etc. with a view to informing strategies/plans. You will also support various executives in business reviews across Android and Play - outlining the questions to be answered, while setting the metrics to track outcomes, and participating in the forums for discussion.
You will engage with executive leaders, scope business problems, structure and execute analyses independently, applying appropriate problem-solving techniques and present actionable recommendations.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Engage with a range of business stakeholders, understand business goals and market environment to develop hypotheses, execute research or analysis, and inform product and business strategies in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Originate forward-looking insights for assigned product areas by collating internal and external research, combined with analysis of relevant user/device behavioral data, to synthesize into forecasts and opportunities for the product teams to invest in.
- Outline business performance metrics by monitoring business performance and competitive landscape, and support the creation of “State of the Union” insights to key leaders and stakeholders.
- Develop compelling presentations for leadership on business challenges and opportunities, and be a subject matter expert on assigned products, features, and associated strategies.
- Influence a cross-functional team to take action on developed strategies, highlighted opportunities, and priorities based on research activities.
