Inclusively is partnering with a financial services company to hire a Data & BI Analyst II - Internal Audit. *Please note: this role is NOT an internal position with Inclusively, but with the partner company.

The Data & BI Analyst II is responsible for providing actionable insights and support business decisions. They work in collaboration with other analysts and stakeholders on the formulation of appropriate analytic approaches to solve ambiguous business problems. This role offers flexibility to work on audits of internal groups and identify risk and/or process gaps using analytics, tools, and other technology.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain a proven understanding of division results & key business drivers, as well as an understanding of key business strategies & priorities.
- Build and maintain knowledge of data sets available to the analyst. Extract, cleanse, and transform data to support analysis needs.
- Provide actionable insights to support business outcomes through various analyses.
- Effectively communicate with business partners regarding analytic ideas, approach, key takeaways, and actionable insights.
- Develop and manage business relationships with project team members and leaders across the organization.
- Document, monitor, and proactively recommend improvements to processes and controls.
- Head the development and monitoring of KPIs and benchmarks.
- Serve as a technical and functional data subject matter expert.
Functional Knowledge:
- Conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within a job discipline.
- Proficiency interacting with various database and file storage systems (e.g., Oracle, Hadoop, NoSQL).
- Experience with data manipulation languages, such as SQL, required.
Experience Required:
- 3-5 years' experience in relevant field.
- At least 2 years of analytics experience.
Education Required:
- Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in business, economics, math, engineering, or analytics preferred.
- Previous financial services industry experience with data is preferred.
- Coursework or background in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or Information Systems preferred.

- Perform ad hoc/develop automated analytic routines to support audit testing.
- Identify opportunities to produce/contribute to dashboards that leverage business data.
- Assist with tracking results of prior audits.
- Build and maintain relationships with business partners.
- Provide informal coaching and guidance to other Internal Auditors.
Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
