Quantum is currently seeking a qualified Senior Analyst to serve in support of the Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA) G-8 at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.
Scope:
Quantum currently provides the DCS G-8, Force Development (FD) with dedicated analytic subject matter expertise and programmatic support in force development processes, analysis, integration, information and tactical data systems, force modernization, and the equipment fielding process needed to support the Army's mission.
Current SECRET clearance required.
This position supports the G-8 Directorate of Materiel daily in the following capacity:
Responsibilities:
- Perform analysis in support of products presented to senior leadership for decisions or information purposes in support of briefings, working groups, or other decision forums.
- Provide programming data analysis for the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) build, program reviews SPAR, and senior leader briefs.
- Assist with quality control of Leadership Reviews. Conduct quality control checks of Portfolio briefings and provide reports of analysis. Analysis shall include recommendation for changes to any and all briefings and presentations formats.
- Provide reviews and analysis of Army Requirements Review Board (AR2B) issues and assist with briefing and preparation of senior leaders for AR2B discussions.
- Provide support in analysis and recommendations to DOM Hardware Divisions in support of Strategic Planning Assessment Reviews (SPAR).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree. Have a minimum of eight (8) years of direct or equivalent experience and expertise in Force Development duties. Experience may be obtained at varying levels of Army organizations, but candidates should have experience at most senior levels of the Army such as HQDA, MACOMs, or Army Service Component Commands. Equivalent experience with other government or Defense agencies/services is also acceptable.
