Job Descriptions
We are looking to immediately hire a Senior Accountant to join our growing team. If you love fast paced, ever changing world challenges, HTH is the right place for you to grow your career.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with other accounting officers within organization
- Provide solutions to accounting issues as they arise
- Investigate and provide feedback on accounting irregularities
- Write recommendation briefs regarding processes that can be improved for greater operational efficiency and transparency
- Collaborate with various leadership to ensure regulatory compliance on all accounting matters
- Assist in the annual budget process, including coordinating with other departments
- Preparing accounting and other required reports and projections based on the analysis performed
- Review sales commission reports for independent sales representatives weekly and biweekly
- Work with external vendors and independent sales representatives to resolve issues timely and accurately
- Consolidate and analyze data (budgets, income statements forecasts etc.) taking into account the company’s goals and financial standing
- Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts
- Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
- Support the strategic planning process and the recurring forecast process
- Perform other ad hoc projects as needed
Skills/Requirements:
- Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, technology and organizational skills
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related field
- 5 years of Accounting work experience
- Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent report-writing and communication skills
- QuickBooks Software knowledge
- Ability to quickly learn industry-related regulations quickly and utilize information in written report
- Must be able to pass a nationwide background check / drug screen
