Position Summary:
Hillenbrand Inc. is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role on Hillenbrand’s FP&A team and is a key business partner to Corporate leadership. This role is responsible for leading the annual planning and quarterly forecasting processes for Hillenbrand Corporate as well as providing reporting, insight, and analysis of results on a monthly basis. This role is also involved in process improvements projects leveraging Business Intelligence tools to more effectively and efficiently provide insight to Sr. Management.
Work You’ll Do:
- Lead the annual business plan and quarterly forecasting processes for Corporate functions
- Lead monthly financial reporting for Corporate functions, including analysis of actual variances to plan and forecast
- Provide support, analysis, and insight to Corporate functional leaders & other members of our senior leadership team
- Provide support for quarterly earnings process
- Complete ad hoc reports or analysis in support of special projects
- Leverage Business Intelligence tools to improve effectiveness and efficiency of reporting
- Other duties may be assigned
Team:
This position reports to the Senior Director of FP&A and does not have any direct reports.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or equivalent role
Preferred Qualifications:
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required, with Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with financial systems; OneStream experience
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with financial modeling and reporting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
