Short Role Description / Purpose:
The US ICT Data & Analytics role will be responsible for managing the data and analytics services for the US Commercial and Medical Affairs functions. Data and analytics services include data ingestion/integration, data modeling, master data management, reporting/dashboard, data catalog, data security, and data governance. This role will work closely with internal stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Compliance, and Legal, in addition to external stakeholders such as data providers, system vendors, and 3rd party implementation partners to advance Dompé’s data initiatives ensuring proper data management across the centralized data platform and IT ecosystem.
Long Description:
- Technology management of the data platform/warehouse and HCP/HCO MDM system responsible for the automated execution of data pipelines, data quality monitoring and resolution, reports/dashboards availability and timeliness.
- Support system vendor management impacting the data platform working day-to-day with the data platform vendor ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met and working with source system teams and vendors enforcing data contracts and data quality metrics.
- Drive data governance across the US functions; leading the data governance committee to build awareness and alignment on data management topics such as data classification, security, and privacy.
- Support the maintenance of the data catalog ensuring it’s maintained and adopted, data lineage, data integrations, and metrics/KPIs are documented, and data security is enforced and regularly audited.
- Responsible for centralized data purchase management working closely with business stakeholders to assess, contract, acquire, ingest, and catalog data purchase needs advancing data reuse.
- Business stakeholder partnership working closely with business analysts and teams to provide assistance in data queries, data extracts, data quality, and analytics.
- Work with system owners to deliver appropriate data to the data platform based on analytics requirements.
- Responsible for driving technical enhancements to the data platform and MDM system based on prioritized business needs and projects.
Education:
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, software engineering, or related field.
Experience:
7+ years experience in data warehousing, data analytics, data engineering or a similar role.
5+ years experience working in Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry with Commercial and/or Medical Affairs functions.
Technical & Functional Expertise:
- Must possess experience in data warehouse, data engineering/integration, master data management, and reports and dashboards engineering.
- Must possess experience in maintaining a data catalog working with business teams to provide proper data definitions, lineage, and governance.
- Must possess experience in cloud data warehouse technologies and concepts (AWS Redshift, Reltio MDM, AWS Lambda, AWS Glue).
- Must possess experience in master data management (MDM) concepts and processes for HCPs and HCOs (match/merge, DCR).
- Must possess experience in data integration designs and protocols (SFTP, API, streaming).
- Must possess experience with data providers such as IQVIA, Komodo, and Medpro and understand data schema and data usage use cases.
- Must possess understanding of data modeling techniques and experience with pharmaceutical data models.
- Must possess experience working with 3rd party vendors and software vendors, such as Veeva, SAP, Salesforce, to develop data integration contracts ensuring high quality and timely data.
- Must possess experience in Pharmaceutical/BioTech business functions and data sets including customer relationship management, incentive compensation, digital marketing, market access, patient assistance programs, specialty pharmacies, commercial and government payers/plans, medical information, medical communications, marketing promotional materials.
- Must possess experience in data quality measurements and automation and monitoring data quality.
- Must possess experience in reporting/dashboarding design, delivery methods, and technologies (PowerBI).
- Must be capable of managing/driving data projects coordinating efforts across vendors and business stakeholders.
Salary: $175,000 - $220,000 a year
