JOB PURPOSE
Develop and present the Company’s financial statements and filings, in conformance with US GAAP and IFRS, to governmental agencies, management, and outside auditors.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Review, analyze and prepare monthly journal entries for month end close, including historic true-ups, amortizations and any others that may be required.
- Review and analyze balance sheet account reconciliations for various legal entities and request appropriate explanations.
- Provide guidance on US GAAP and IFRS regulations.
- Recommend any adjustments that need to be made to financial data.
- Development and presentation of financial schedules to management and external audit team.
- Preparation of Fixed Asset roll forward for multiple entities.
- Review and analyze variance analysis explanations.
- Assist with internal & external audits by preparing and/or reviewing fluctuations for significant accounts between periods, including the preparation of other audit schedules for designated balance sheet accounts, as requested by the external auditors.
- Analyze intercompany transactions to ensure they are properly accounted for.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting from a four-year college/university.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within Accounting or Financial Analysis.
- Theoretical and practical understanding of US GAAP.
- Oracle or other integrated accounting software experience preferred.
- Good verbal and written knowledge of English (multiple languages preferred).
- Advanced computer skills in EXCEL.
