Triplett, Inc. Corporate Office in Salina, KS, dba 24/7 Travel Stores, is looking for an Accounting Manager that will be responsible for general accounting activities including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Daily Reconciliations and/or other daily bookkeeping duties as required by the organization. This person must be flexible in their day to day activities and able to move between responsibilities throughout the day in a small office environment. This candidate will report to and directly assist the Controller and learn all aspects of the organizational operations and accounting procedures.
The right candidate will be efficient in entering data with attention to detail and will have good math/accounting skills to make the necessary accounting calculations and postings. This person is expected to be a thorough professional with good communication abilities and analytical skills. This person must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and able and willing to learn other software within the organization as it will require continuous use of computers and computer programs and applications. Expected earnings are $60,000 - $70,000 and pay will be based on a variety of factors, including the individual's educational history and relevant experience.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepares General Ledger Entries in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Collects invoices, authorizations and shipping documents related to goods and services received.
- Makes payments to vendors and service providers via multiple methods in a timely manner.
- Maintains files in an organized and complete manner.
- Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable
- Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers.
- Reconciles daily bookwork from retail stores including sales, payments and loyalty programs and rewards.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven accounting experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs.
- Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computers, 10-key calculator, and copier.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers and vendors.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Experience/Education:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business -or-
- Associate's degree in accounting with 3 years of work experience
