Our client, a purposeful organization within the consumer services industry, is looking to fill an Accounts Payable Specialist role, with locations all throughout the country! This position is based in Pompano Beach (Fort Lauderdale).
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$60,000
Position Overview:
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for auditing reports and travel card reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have a customer service attitude and be able to collaborate with internal employees as well as outside vendors.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist:
- Full-cycle accounts payable experience, not just invoicing
- Matching, batching, coding, and 3-way processing
- Monitoring payments in a timely manner
- Providing clerical support, processing general ledgers, and data entry to multiple systems
- Reconciliations of travel cards
- Processing accounts and incoming payments, and monthly journal entries
- Customer service support with vendors and employees
Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist:- 2+ years experience in a full-cycle Accounts Payable position
- Solid understanding of processing accounts payable
- Experience auditing reports
- Customer service attitude with the ability to collaborate with internal employees and outside vendors
Education Requirements:- Bachelor's degree is required
