Billing Specialist
IMCD US currently has an opening for a Billing Specialist. This role is based in our Corporate Headquarters in Westlake, Ohio.

Job Responsibilities:
The Billing Specialist is responsible for accurate daily invoicing of orders shipped from IMCD US warehouses, direct ship orders from principals, add-on freight and miscellaneous supplemental charges, balancing consignment stock and billings as well as managing customer online invoicing. Committed to the overriding goal of ensuring we meet or exceed our customer’s expectations by providing solutions, exploring opportunities for process improvements, and demonstrating commitment to building a better organization.
The Billing Specialist will serve as a member of the customer service and billing department team, which aids the company in fulfilling its core purpose of providing commercial and technical solutions to its customers and principals.
Successful candidates will be responsible to:
- Rotate schedule to pull and match bills-of-lading and principal invoices with orders for invoicing.
- Perform daily invoicing of warehouse and drop ship orders.
- Perform daily invoicing of add-on freight, samples, and supplemental charges.
- Rotate schedule for online customers’ invoicing.
- Rotate schedule to expedite warehouse order drawer (daily) and drop ship order drawer (weekly); Request missing bills-of-lading or invoices.
- Rotate schedule to provide “orders shipping today” reports to warehouses.
- Rotate schedule to manage missed warehouse orders reports.
- Provide order tracking information to customers and/or CSR’s upon request.
- Participate in month-end billing strategizing meetings.
- Rotate schedule to provide reports for year-end inventory.
- Process credit memos, as necessary.
- Attend and participate in weekly alignment meetings and monthly department meetings.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Customer Service Reps, Accounting personnel, MM analysts, third-party warehouse personnel, and Principal Customer Care personnel.

Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree or three years equivalent billing experience.
- A minimum of one year of billing experience.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This job currently operates on a hybrid schedule rotating between in-office and remote work environments. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, and the hours of work and days are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., unless otherwise directed. Additional hours may be required as needed.
Travel:
No travel is expected for this position.
