We are seeking a qualified/part-qualified management accountant for a part time role covering maternity leave.
The contract will run for 12 months (Nov 2024-Nov 2025) and is based in-office at our factory in Dundalk.
Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts in a dynamic and interesting role within a manufacturing company.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is not essential but would be ideal.
Duties include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Preparation & Analysis of Margin reports.
- Providing commentary and variance analysis of costs to management.
- Product/Process costing – Reconcile bills of Material to actual cost.
- Preparing ad-hoc reports including cost analysis, sales reports
- Prepare & File statutory returns including Vies, Intrastats, Vat returns.
- Weekly Preparation of Cash flow
- Invoice processing
- Bank Reconciliation
- Year end Audit preparation.
Key skills / qualifications / requirements:
- Qualified or part qualified accountant – ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ACA.
- Excellent Excel skills essential.
- Sage 200 experience would be an advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years' accountancy experience.
