Bourke Accounting is currently seeking an experienced full time Bookkeeper/Accountant. Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as good customer relations and the ability to communicate clearly. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, works well under pressure, is reliable and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines.
We are a fast-paced tax and accounting office where each bookkeeper manages several clients of various industries.
Job responsibilities include:
- Bookkeeping
- Payroll Filings
- Account Reconciliation
- Sales Tax
- Financial Statements Preparation
- Handle all correspondence with IRA, State Taxes & Localities
Requirements for the position include:
- Associate’s degree with continuing education
- Minimum 3-5 years accounting experience
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Software and Accounting Solutions
Benefits & Compensation
This is a regular, full-time exempt position scheduled to work as follows:
- Regular Season (Day after Tax Day through Dec. 31st): Mondays through Fridays, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
- Tax Season (Jan. 2nd through Tax Day in April): Mondays through Fridays, 7:30 am - 6:00 pm
The starting pay range for this position is $44,000 - $52,000, depending on experience. Full-time employees are eligible to participate in benefits the first of the month following the date of hire. Benefits include:
