Job Description:
Enterprise Architecture Management is seeking a strong Project Manager to drive major initiatives related to Architecture Management. The ideal candidate will work closely with team members and stakeholders to implement reporting and control solutions to ensure portfolio compliance. Responsible for consistent delivery, process automation, issues management, as well as strategic program and initiative improvements.
Responsible for capturing and supporting delivery of business and/or system requirements (based on specialization) to deliver significant business outcomes. Works with stakeholders to understand needs, capture requirements, perform impact analysis, and works closely with the development team(s) to refine the requirements into actionable specifications. Possesses a deep understanding of the business/technical domain and the main applications within the domain, and provide thought leadership based on the significant experience they have built through multiple software implementations. Influences stakeholder strategy and understands the needs to help envision and create a solution to solve a problem. Establishes and builds relationships with business and technology leaders across multiple organizations. Leads cost/benefit analysis to align technology solutions to business strategy. Gathers & catalogs functional, non-functional, and technical requirements for stakeholder requests. Acts as the subject matter expert within the business/technical domain to support scope and requirement decisions. Determines the impact of modifications and enhancements to applications across a business/technical domain; assists with identifying integration points and end-to-end solution design. Ensures changes to the application are compliant with bank standards and policies. For vendor applications, works closely with the vendor to ensure changes meet bank requirements, including assisting with acceptance testing where needed. Assists users and development teams in application testing and troubleshooting, and may help with test planning and configuring test solutions to validate functional and system needs. Leads continuous improvement efforts to create, analyze, and improve processes and solutions. Mentors more junior Analysts.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for planning, coordinating, and delivery of a Solution Design reviews which requires engagement from various key stakeholders both within the team and outside.
- Execute and manage monthly SPI metrics process.
- The candidate would be expected to build strong relationships with stakeholders to collaborate on planning and execution.
- Responsible to reconcile large sets of data and provide status updates via executive summaries and reports to stakeholders and leadership.
Required Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skill with the ability to communicate effectively with senior levels of management.
- Ability to progress with limited direction and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to multitask, work well under pressure, running a number of competing deliverables in parallel.
- Strong Meeting Facilitation and Presentation skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio required.
- JIRA proficiency.
- Has proven track record of preparing materials for all levels within the organization (practitioner through to senior leadership).
- Must possess analytical and problem-solving skills.
