Job Responsibilities:
- Leads the assessment of the design and effectiveness of the risk and control environment to support Client Operational Services and ensure adherence to enterprise-wide standards.
- Performs monitoring and testing of controls, identifying issues and control improvements for remediation.
- Leads the implementation of optimized controls and enhanced Quality Assurance (QA) practices to support business continuity efforts.
- Manages the performance and productivity of team members that conduct quality inspection reviews.
- Ensures timely execution of QA activities including control execution, case management, and results reporting.
- Manages and reviews all operations front line unit responses for regulatory exams, internal audits, and other monitoring and inspection reviews.
- Ensures accuracy of data and that relevant information is captured for inspection metrics to support governance for dashboard reporting.
- Determine the Company-wide RCSA process, the data elements and taxonomies required to be captured in support of analytics and aggregate reporting of the RCSA outcomes.
- Oversee the determination of RCSA structure and frequency of attestation (in conjunction with GCOR Teams) for GCORC review and approval.
- Execute the Company RCSA process in accordance with the RCSA Standard.
- Review and challenge the accuracy and completeness of the RCSA content, retaining appropriate documentation.
- Attest to RCSA content in accordance with the criteria as outlined within the RCSA Standard.
- Report and review key RCSA outcomes within front line unit / control function management and / or governance routines.
- As required, capture Issues and Risks identified from the RCSA process in accordance with the Issues and Risks - Enterprise Policy and the supporting Issues and Risks Standards.
- Aggregate the results of the RSCA and compare to the Enterprise Operational Risk Appetite; report results to the GCORC, and MRC after each attestation period, with escalation to the ERC as deemed appropriate by the MRC.
- Reevaluate summary and / or aggregate ratings when changes to the control environment occur which materially impact their operational or compliance risk profile.
Minimum Requirements:
- 3+ years of Business Control, Compliance and/or Risk experience.
- Strong understanding of Controls, Procedures, Policies and Standards.
