Responsibilities

Prepares consolidated federal 1120 income tax workpapers and returns using OneSource Income Tax Software to ensure timely and accurate information.
Collaborates with external tax consultants on tax compliance, provision, and other tax matters as needed.
Gathers necessary information and prepares year-end and quarterly tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740.
Calculates and prepares quarterly estimated tax payments and filings for both federal and state returns.
Researches Federal and State tax notices and gathers support for response preparation.
Provides assistance with year-end GAAP financial statement audit requests from external auditors to ensure all necessary information is available when needed.
Performs annual reconciliation between taxes based on final tax returns vs. year-end tax accruals to ensure accuracy.
Prepares reports and journal entries by compiling documents to research and analyze accounts within the General Ledger.
Aids in support technology implementations, overall process improvements, and other efforts to increase the efficiency of the income tax compliance and provision function.
Researches and provides advice on tax issues to support the tax department and business unit requests.
Participates in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of tax matters, the company, and its products and services.
