Position Summary:
The Senior Credit Manager will oversee all aspects of credit management and collections to ensure optimal cash flow with minimal write-offs. You’ll be responsible for crafting and executing strategies for credit and collections, implementing the best tools and processes, and leading the hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and performance evaluations of your team. Your role is crucial in maintaining a skilled workforce capable of meeting our collections goals.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years in collections and credit management ideally in a project-based environment such as construction, with at least 5 years of management experience.
- Proven leadership and team development skills.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience with AR automation and/or advanced Excel skills is a plus.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening prior to the start date.
- Must be able to work on-site daily at our Cary, NC office.
Responsibilities:
- Collections Management (30%): Direct and support collections activities, working closely with your team to maintain healthy customer relationships and ensure timely payments.
- Credit Management (30%): Review and manage customer credit terms, ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines, and accurately track and monitor credit decisions.
- Team Development (30%): Hire, mentor, and develop a top-tier Credit and Collections staff, while monitoring and reporting on team KPIs.
- Miscellaneous Tasks (10%): Handle other duties as needed to support the department’s objectives.
