Job Title: Business Analyst – Hybrid
Location: US-GA-Atlanta (Must be able to work onsite in Sandy Springs)

Job Overview:
As a Business Analyst in the Rates and Forms department, the candidate will identify and communicate with Business Stakeholders to formulate and produce a requirements specification to execute rate updates, new product implementations, and rate systems enhancements. Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: Functional requirements (Business Requirements Document), Use Cases, GUI, Screen and Interface designs etc.
Job Responsibilities:
- Interact with business users to define and analyze business requirements
- Document requirements via user stories and process flows in Jira
- Communicate business requirements and business process design to the development team
- Actively participate in IT design reviews to ensure compatibility and interoperability of systems
- Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems
- Analyze and make recommendations on improving existing business processes
- Lead special projects as assigned by IT management
- Serve as liaison between IT and other functional departments
- Collaborate with other IT development groups on overall enterprise system architectures and strategies
- Test and provide feedback to the development team
- Conduct Demos and user training
Qualifications:
- College diploma or university degree in the field of business administration, computer science, finance, or information systems
- Preferred 2 to 4 years work experience on automobile service contract/insurance claim administration
- Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, modeling, verification, and methodology development
- Prefer some level of project management skills
- Able to exercise independent judgment and take action on it
- Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in SQL queries required
- MS Office including high competency in Excel and Visio required
- Highly self-motivated and directed
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
- Strong customer service orientation
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check
