Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Champion vendor management processes and frameworks to nurture and support vendor relationships, control costs, and maximize efficiency
- Develop and implement vendor performance metrics
- Coordinate and monitor cross-functional risk management, privacy, legal compliance, and commercial legal contract reviews
- Provide regular reporting on all vendor-related KPIs, to include (but not limited to) length of time it takes to process a business request, types of requests received, and the business unit the vendor will interact with
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure policies, procedures, and business processes are documented and reviewed regularly
- Analyze spending against issued purchase orders and contracts to ensure contract terms are adhered to
- Establish strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to develop, implement, and optimize vendor management processes, tools, and policies
- Lead research and discovery of new vendors as required and in collaboration with the software intake process
- Ensure vendor alignment with strategic Company goals
- Manage signed contracts to track spending across issued POs and ensure contract terms are being met
- Other duties as assigned

This position manages employees and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees.

Education
Minimum of a 4 Year / Bachelors Degree In Finance, Business, or related field. Equivalent experience accepted.
Experience
5 years Accounting, IT, or finance experience
3 years Working with suppliers and negotiating contracts
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with different departments, stakeholders, and executive team members
- Excellent ability to understand business requirements and translate information into a business case for management approval
- Proven leadership skills in a matrixed environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills and ability to tell the story
- Understanding of F&O or FP&A and procurement, including analyzing spending against issued POs
- Proficient in managing SLAs, KPIs and reporting to stakeholders
- Understanding of contract language and contract management
- Knowledge of LogicGate or other Contract management software applications a plus
- Knowledge of reporting software such as Power BI
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Customer service skills
- Proficiency in using vendor management software a plus
