Job Summary: The Senior Financial Analyst is a critical member of Formerra’s Finance team. This job is for you if you have been responsible for performing financial reporting and analysis, supporting monthly management and lender reporting, monthly forecasting, annual planning processes, and providing financial support to functional business partners as part of the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team. The ideal candidate will enjoy spending their day doing the following:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Works as an effective business partner to provide assistance and guidance on financial related issues by preparing accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Plays a critical role within monthly reporting and forecasting processes as a significant contributor to our ownership reporting presentations and lender reporting requests.
- Collaborates effectively with the sales team to run analyses supporting contract renewals, rebate program proposals, and payment terms adjustments, evaluating key indicators across volume growth, profitability, and return on net assets.
- Provides reporting for end market, customer, supplier, product, and region analysis providing insight on trends within the business.
- Assists sales and operations to review and evaluate pricing trends to identify opportunities for margin acceleration.
- Supports preparation and achievement of the annual plan/budget through modeling historical and projected growth and profitability while understanding and communicating important variance drivers.
- Collaborates across functions to support periodic updates to the financial forecasts.
- Assists functional leaders in preparing and adhering to administrative budgets.
- Supports acquisition financial analysis and integration as needed.
- Continuous improvement mindset, seeking opportunities to improve processes within our team and drive efficiency.
- Completes special projects and ad-hoc reporting as assigned.

Education And Experience:
- Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years’ experience in finance, accounting, and financial analysis in a distribution and/or manufacturing company.
- SAP, OneStream, and Data visualization software (Tableau) experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements & Work Setting:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Hybrid position, required to be in office a minimum of 3 days a week.
