Description & Requirements
Maximus is seeking a Business Analyst in Finance to support our defense customer. This position is responsible for business process and system analysis, design/translating business requirements to technical requirements, testing, troubleshooting, and implementation of components in an enterprise SAP environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Performs system-wide analysis regarding the allocation of enterprise application functions.
- Develops analysis of system design in coordination with designers, architects, developers, and business analysts.
- Analyzes software development, hardware configuration, and system reliability, maintainability, and availability.
Minimum Requirements
- Active Secret clearance.
- 3+ years of SAP experience.
- 3 years in Federal Financials -OR- Public Sector Accounting.
- Expert in the FI/FM modules of SAP ECC 7.0.
- Strong experience with compliance requirements for DoD.
- Supporting internal and commercial audit engagements, providing responses, and managing corrective actions.
- Implementation project/deployment lifecycle experience.
- Extensive experience with the functions related to AA, AP, AR, GL, Budgetary ledger, billings, cash advances, interest expense, etc.
- Functional integration experience with other SAP modules specifically with PS, HR, SD, MM, PP & PM.
- Experience in using BW & ECC queries for financial reporting.
- Discrete manufacturing SAP experience.
- 2 years of DoD experience in:
- Reviewing and understanding compliance requirements for DoD LRPs relative to SAP configured and delivered capabilities to enable Government Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA) operational activities.
- Executing life cycle processes to meet the compliance requirements.
- Providing active support for audits with DoDIG, GAO, AAA, and other auditing entities.
- Developing responses and products based on requests from audit agencies.
- Reviewing audit agency reports and recommending corrective action.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. Annual Base Pay Minimum for this Position: $70,000.00 Annual Base Pay Maximum for this Position: $110,000.00
