The team you will be a part of
This role sits within the Brand organization in the North American region, supporting major appliances (Laundry, Refrigeration, Cooking, and Dishwashers). The Brand team promotes and maintains the brand image at local and national levels. This team coordinates marketing strategies, including packaging, pricing, expense budgets, advertising and promotion of the brand.
This role in summary
The Senior Analyst is responsible for supporting Whirlpool’s marketing priorities by representing the voice of the marketplace in all key commercial decisions, and will assist in the design and management of primary research projects (both qualitative and quantitative) in support of Whirlpool commercial initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include
- Understand and support insights initiatives across Brand, Product, and Shopper marketing
- Build clear concise insights summaries that can be socialized across the commercial organization
- Explore, summarize and synthesize data (e.g., attributes, transactional, behaviors, etc.) to draw conclusions and make recommendations resulting in actionable strategies
- Represent consistent expertise on the Who/What/Where/When/Why of both the consumer and shopper
- Partner with commercial intelligence cross functional teams to drive synergistic touchpoints in marketplace insights
- Drive exposure to what's new/next eg. methods, trends and future forecasting
- Establish strong, collaborative working relationships with external vendors/suppliers to ensure that deliverables are consistent with project research objectives and are within the standards for quality and ethical research.
- Own and manage the vendor contracts and budget associated with primary and secondary research partners
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of experience in primary research design, execution, and reporting
Preferred skills and experiences

- Communication and relationship building
- Microsoft Office, Google Suite
- Master’s Degree in one of the following: Marketing, Business Administration, Decision Science, Economics, Marketing Research, Behavioral Psychology, Social Sciences, or related field
