This Position will report to FP&A Controller and will perform financial and business assistance to all activities (formerly known as business units) of the organization, including products (manufacturing), licensing (projects), and heaters (capital construction and software).
The position will collaborate with the Finance, Operations, Procurement, and Sales teams, supporting the monthly reporting, analysis, ad hoc reports, quarterly management presentations, and annual budget preparations.
MAIN MISSIONS:
Axens North America (Products, Licensing, and Equipments), Axens Canada (Products), Heaters (PCD), and Software (PFR).
Assisting two activities controllers and the Financial Planning & Analysis Controller with the following responsibilities:
- Development, analysis, and interpretation of statistical and accounting information to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the organization.
- Review and report of entities' overhead.
- Prepares reports that outline the company's financial position on projects in the areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and future operations.
- Assisting for Licensing & Equipment:
- Evaluate project progress status and perform budget cost comparison.
- Review and troubleshoot project setup, budget cost, and quotation issues to ensure accurate data for financial calculation.
- Assisting month-end closings and job costing analysis.
General responsibilities:
- Assisting with key management on executing the business development, prepare performance indicator reports, and act as a partner for the business by providing solicited and unsolicited advices.
- Assist Activities Controllers, FP&A Controller in preparing budget and forecast and external auditor requests.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- In process or completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Master’s degree preferred but not required.
Work Experience:
- One year of accounting and finance experience is preferred but not required.
Software Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and databases.
- SAP, Power BI, and HFM knowledge is preferred but not required.
- Must have intermediate to advanced Excel skills (medium to complex formulas knowledge).
Languages:
- Intermediate to Advanced English (fluent to business level).
- Spanish is a plus but not required.
