Rockefeller Capital Management offers a distinctive Summer Analyst Program experience as a premier independent financial advisory firm. Our diversified businesses, boutique size, and entrepreneurial culture shape a dynamic, personalized experience for our Analysts.
Our Summer Analyst program is a ten-week (June-August) internship program designed to provide an opportunity to experience the culture and atmosphere of Rockefeller Capital Management. Summer Analysts will be fully immersed in the day-to-day activities of the business providing opportunities to learn, grow, and excel.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria
To be eligible for consideration, students must be projected 2026 graduates and in good standing at the school. Analysts should have an interest in the financial services industry and be eager to learn and make an impact.
Position
As a summer analyst on our Private Equity team with approximately $2 billion of allocated capital you will collaborate closely with senior team members, to source, diligence, and manage direct private equity investments. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our portfolio.
ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:
- Source and Evaluate Investment Opportunities:
- Assist in sourcing efforts for private equity investments and industry operators, with a focus on technology, tech-enabled services, industrial tech, and consumer sectors.
- Assist in conducting value-add diligence to build conviction to make investments and partner with industry operators.
- Structure and Execute Investment Opportunities:
- Develop proficiency in modeling and structuring of equity investments.
- Ensure successful execution of investment transactions.
- Manage Existing Investments and Execute Value Creation:
- Assist in the development of and help drive value creation initiatives.
- Collaboration and Cultural Adherence:
- Collaborate closely with other members within Rockefeller Asset Management.
- Uphold and promote our firm’s culture and values around integrity, community care and pursuing excellence.
Qualifications- High school degree required.
- Pursuing a degree with a concentration in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or Business, is desirable.
- Prior internship experience in the financial industry, including private equity or asset management a plus.
Skills- Experience: interested in secular growth themes with interest in end markets that include technology, industrials and consumer.
- Track Record: shown an interest to invest in personal accounts.
- Financial Acumen: Strong analytical skills, high intellectual curiosity, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Microsoft Office: ability to prepare and edit presentations in PowerPoint, ability to build and edit financial models in excel.
- Accounting: understanding of financial accounting and how it applies to analyzing businesses.
- Communication: ability to clearly communicate ideas in writing and verbally and synthesize complex matters into simple terms.
- Resourceful, high attention to detail, team players and a tremendous capacity for hard work.
Compensation RangeThe anticipated hourly rate for this role is $48/hour. Hourly rate for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown.
