SUMMARY:
Snowbasin’s uniquely massive complimentary parking lots are some of the great attributes that set us apart in the ski resort industry. Optimizing parking, training parking attendants to be informative, fun, and service-minded helps complement our impressive parking infrastructure and facilitate a great guest experience by efficiently getting vehicles safely and quickly parked.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Hiring, training, and scheduling parking attendants
- Direct guests to roads, parking lots and parking spaces
- Keep walkways clear of ice and snow
- Empty parking lot waste and recycling receptacles and keep parking lots free of trash and debris
- Assist where needed in resort operations during peak times (e.g. Snow Removal, Guest Shuttle Service, Guest Service and Safety, emptying trash, Lodge services, Food and Beverage, etc.)
- Perform any reasonable tasks as requested by management
- Lead by example, fostering departmental teamwork and collaboration across all departments
- Understand, support and implement resort policies and procedures concerning carpooling lots, uphill skiing parking, ADA, etc.
- Maintain awareness of special events, groups and other circumstances out of the range of normal operations
- Support and work towards fulfilling department goals as well as company goals
EQUIPMENT USED:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have experience leading others
- Must have confidence to direct guests in an assertive yet fun manner
- Must have a clean driving record
- Forklift certification preferred
- Driving experience involving trucks and trailers
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Must be able to work in any weather condition for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to shovel snow for extended periods of time
