Position Description
As a Business Analyst at PAR, a leader in restaurant technology, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of dining experiences through innovative tech solutions. Your expertise will directly contribute to enhancing our products and services, which include state-of-the-art POS systems, customer engagement tools, and mobile ordering applications.

The base salary range for this position is $97,605 to $131,497 USD per year commensurate with work location, experience, skills, certifications, education and prior accomplishments. This position may be eligible for additional compensation including a bonus, commission and/or equity as applicable.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record of success in business analysis, preferably in the technology or hospitality sector.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., SQL, Excel, BI tools).
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholder groups.

What You Will Do And Be Responsible For
- In-Depth Data Analysis: Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to delve into complex datasets. Identify key performance indicators relevant to the restaurant industry and use these metrics to drive business decisions.
- Business Process Optimization: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of business operations. Develop and implement strategies that streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and optimize the use of technology in restaurant settings.
- Client-Centric Requirements Gathering: Work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and challenges. Translate these requirements into detailed, actionable plans for the development team, ensuring that our solutions are perfectly tailored to our clients' needs.
- Advanced Stakeholder Communication: Engage with stakeholders at all levels, from C-suite executives to end-users. Tailor your communication style to each audience, ensuring clarity and effectiveness in conveying complex technical concepts.
- Innovative Market Research: Continuously explore emerging trends in both the restaurant industry and technology sector. Leverage this knowledge to propose innovative features and enhancements for our products.
- Comprehensive User Training and Support: Develop extensive training programs and documentation for users of our technology. Provide exceptional ongoing support, resolving issues efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaboration with Development Teams: Work hand-in-hand with software developers and engineers. Ensure that the technical aspects of our solutions align seamlessly with business requirements and customer expectations.
- Feedback Analysis and Implementation: Regularly collect and analyze user feedback. Use this information to make data-driven recommendations for product improvements and enhancements.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in business operations and technology implementations. Develop and execute mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes.
