The Business Analyst is responsible for eliciting and documenting functionality requirements for software, hardware, and third-party solutions. This individual works with business units and the various IT groups to identify, evaluate, and document functionality requirements that meet business needs. The Business Analyst is an expert at drawing out the specifics of what the business needs to succeed. This individual must be able to excel in a fast-paced environment while interfacing with several distinct groups and various personality types.
Job Description
- Manage and deliver IT projects for Sales & Marketing.
- Understand the business requirements for specific Sales & Marketing projects.
- Define functional requirements for the project.
- Design the solution working with internal IT team and vendors.
- Work with the development team to get the project delivered.
- Manage the projects by scope, cost, schedule, delivery, and people.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with more than three (3) years of experience in business analysis and working directly with business and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working experience in SOX environment.
- Experience with business analysis planning and monitoring; enterprise analysis, requirements analysis, solution assessment and validation, requirements management and communication, stakeholder management, project management, and process adherence.
- Technical experience with:
- Salesforce.com, B2B and B2C Web applications, BI, ERP
- MS Office (Word, Excel, Presentation), Visio
- Business and Functional specifications writing
- Technical solution design
- Creating and delivering presentations
