At Regions, the Associate Wealth Advisor, through the mentorship of a senior advisor, will build foundational skills, knowledge and expertise needed to further their advancement to an advisor role. The Associate Wealth Advisor will focus on growing legacy banking and small Investment Management & Trust (IM&T) relationships within an assigned book of business.
This position is designed to prepare the Associate for the complexity of the traditional Wealth Advisor role.
Primary Responsibilities
- Under the guidance of senior Wealth Advisors, serves as a relationship management point of contact, delivering administrative support to key clients
- Establishes new client relationships in addition to providing advisory services and support to their existing, assigned client relationships
- Serves as a focused partner, working closely with internal partners to identify relationship growth and asset retention opportunities
- Conducts the initial client interview process in the absence of the client's Wealth Advisor
- Proactively communicates with clients and follows up on advice delivery
- Executes client transaction requests, such as implementing advice recommendations
- Conducts Annual Relationship Reviews for clients
- Performs perpetual discovery, assessing a client's financial situation to retain and grow the client relationship
- Communicates and delivers the Private Wealth Management mission and vision statement
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and one (1) year of line delivery banking experience, preferably in lending, trust investment or wealth management
- Or High School Diploma/GED and five (5) years experience in trust investment or wealth management
Skills and Competencies
- Proficient sales, negotiation, presentation and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
Job Range Target:
Minimum: $63,213.20 USD
50th Percentile: $83,480.00 USD
Incentive Pay Plans: This role is eligible to participate in a formulaic incentive plan. Employees have the potential to earn incentives based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
