Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to help in our multi-family accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, maintenance of accurate financial records, team building, and staff development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead daily accounting operations, including month-end closing processes and financial reporting.
- Review general ledger entries, balance sheets, and financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee cash flow management and forecasting on a daily and monthly basis.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for senior management.
- Conduct general ledger reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
- Perform financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Utilize financial concepts to provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditing agencies to ensure compliance and facilitate audits.
- Lead and mentor Accounting team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Skills:
- Proven experience in regulatory reporting and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software, Excel, and Adobe.
- Expertise in accrual accounting and general ledger reconciliation.
- Ability to analyze financial data.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial concepts.
