Job description
We are currently seeking an experienced CPA to join our team. The successful candidate will be a great fit and addition to the existing team. Primary responsibility would be tax preparation for new and existing clients. If successful, the role may evolve into a Full-Time permanent position. May have ability to work remotely after onsite training and evaluation period.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Conducting tax interviews with clients via phone, email, virtual, and in person meetings
- Preparing individual, state, and entity tax returns
- Tax planning and research
- Client IRS support
- Help to grow the existing tax practice
- Continuing education and ongoing professional development
- Providing high quality client service that meets or exceeds client and firm expectations
Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of 3 years recent tax preparation experience
- Strong understanding of tax code
- Ability to work independently as well as a team member
- Strong analytical skills, high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Great communication and leadership skills and ability to work closely with clients
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to handle pressure in a positive professional manner
- Passionate about client service.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field
- Enrolled Agent Designation (active)
- Certified Public Accountant (active)
- Knowledge of Excel, QuickBooks, and LaCerte or comparable tax software
Compensation
Salary Depends on Experience (DOE)
