As a Software Implementation Business Analyst at VisualVault, you will play a pivotal role within our Implementation Services team, taking ownership of critical tasks aimed at driving requirements identification and solution development for our esteemed clients. Your responsibilities will encompass leading and facilitating comprehensive interview sessions, conducting thorough process mapping exercises, and conducting solution impact assessments on multi-year engagements. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with test teams to enhance traceability and deepen comprehension, ensuring the seamless integration of our solutions into our clients' workflows.

Responsibilities:
- Lead client resources through various techniques to precisely define solution requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment.
- Serve as a solution expert, comprehensively understanding the logic, rules, and processes implemented to fulfill requirements.
- Develop basic wireframes to visually demonstrate understanding of requirements and illustrate process flow.
- Model intricate business processes with clarity and precision to inform the solution backlog effectively.
- Gain a deep understanding of the customer's operations and consistently provide consultative guidance.
- Collaborate closely with Project Management, Product Management, and Development/Test teams to ensure alignment between requirements and solution features.
- Be readily available to clarify and test requirements as needed, contributing to the overall success of the project.
- Vigilantly safeguard the integrity of requirements, their management, and iterations of change to the backlog.
- Exhibit enthusiasm and energy during client sessions, while remaining adaptable to their culture and terminology.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the context of software projects, demonstrating a deep understanding of requirements analysis and solution design.
- Proficiency in business process modeling and mapping, facilitating clear and concise communication of complex concepts.
- Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies, with a strong understanding of their principles and practices, facilitating effective collaboration and iterative development processes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adept at conveying information effectively to diverse audiences.
- Ability to understand the subtleties of communication and how they are perceived by clients, ensuring clear and positive interactions.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
- Experience with business applications, including proficiency in MS Visio and other common IT tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Proven experience in facilitating client sessions, including those involving up to 30 participants, ensuring productive and collaborative discussions.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, including the ability to write comprehensive user stories when necessary, facilitating smooth project execution.
- Experience working on both public sector projects, understanding the unique requirements and regulations involved.
- Knowledge of test methodologies, contributing to the overall quality assurance process and ensuring the delivery of robust solutions.
Please note that this position is a hybrid role, requiring candidates to be located in Tempe, AZ, and work from our corporate headquarters 3 times per week. Candidates must be able to commute to the corporate office as needed. Candidates should be willing to relocate to Tempe, AZ if not already residing in the area, as the role will require regular presence at our corporate headquarters.
