We are currently looking for an outstanding Commercial & Risk Financial Analyst to support our global financial team for the growing capital products mining business unit of FLSmidth in our beautiful Salt Lake City offices.Key Responsibilities:- Financial business partner to Global Key Account Team and Global Proposal Team which provides ~$900mm of orders annually.
- Develop, execute, and maintain commission payment plan for Global Capital Sales team.
- Provide finance support to Global Capital sales team, including assisting with order intake forecasts, analyzing actuals vs forecasts, and ad hoc scenario analyses.
- Key member of the Global PBL FP&A team, responsible to coordinate capital equipment order intake budgeting with the global sales regions.
- Advisor on commercial risks items, review contractual T&Cs, support negotiation strategy/scenarios.
- Review project financials, cost estimate and cash flows for large cross PGs orders.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of opportunities and orders reporting (CRM tools/ proposal reporting, Power BI tools/ order reporting).
- Gatekeeper of bid-to-award metrics, maintain competitors' data and bidding history, develop pricing proposal analytics.
- Prepare support material for high-risk project subject to corporate commercial board review and approval.
- Simplify and increase efficiency in commercial finance processes while ensuring risks are mitigated.
- Develop commercial finance and trade finance training material and deliver training to Sales, Commercial and Product Management teams.
- Promote a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company’s operational activities.
What You Bring:- Bachelor's degree.
- English. Bi-lingual a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years in sales support, commercial finance roles in global organization.
- Experience supporting commercial teams with order forecasting, managing sales compensation processes, advising on commercial and contractual risks, working with a globally dispersed team.
