The Accounting Manager oversees and manages the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
What does the Accounting Manager do for RITALKA? They:
- Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Conduct quarterly and year-end financial review activities.
- Document financial transactions by entering account information.
- Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
- Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
- Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
- Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing training, and maintaining.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Secure financial information by completing database backups.
- Work with external accountants to ensure correct and timely reporting.
- Assist in payroll activities.
- Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
- Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
- Answer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
- Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Accomplish the result by performing the duty.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
What are we looking for in a great candidate? Someone who:
- Has a High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Possesses a 4-year Degree in accounting, finance, or business.
- Has 3+ Years of experience.
- Has knowledge of manufacturing accounting.
- Has thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP.

Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be acceptable.
