Fairview Range and Grand Itasca are seeking a Regional Manager of Cancer Care Services in Hibbing and Grand Rapids, MN.
The Regional Manager of Cancer Care Services has accountability for the management and development of the people, finances, and business operations of the regional Cancer Care departments, such as the Medical Oncology and Infusion departments at Fairview Range and Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital and the Radiation Therapy department at Fairview Range. The Regional Manager of Cancer Care Services provides oversight of all aspects of service delivery including budgeting, staffing, scheduling, marketing, interdisciplinary team meetings, and program development. The individual in this role assures that customers are the focus of all business activities, and that employee satisfaction is the essential ingredient within all efforts. The Regional Manager of Cancer Care Services supports standardization within the service line to key clinical quality, operational, and financial standards. This manager is responsible for developing relationships that support business development and must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that support success across collaborative teams and within the organizations. This individual also has strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritize and is adaptable and responsive to the needs of the service line and organization to in turn meet the needs of the patients and community.
Schedule: This position will be working full time, 80 hours per pay period.

Manager Job Responsibilities:
- Utilizes a value-based method when recruiting, interviewing, and selecting qualified employees.
- Participates in formal retention and recognition activities.
- Develops and implements department specific orientation/education/competency programs.
- Provides staff with education and resources to deliver evidenced based programs.
- Conducts monthly unit meetings and identifies ongoing communication methods to keep the employees informed regarding the organizational strategic plans.
- Communicates clear, concise expectations and demonstrates accountability for employee performance by coaching, mentoring, and initiating disciplinary action when appropriate.
- Demonstrates just culture concepts to promote a safe, positive working environment.
- Ensures unit activities are conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Establishes and maintains current policies and procedures for the department in collaboration with the service line director.
- Demonstrates knowledge of regulatory requirements to assure organizational compliance.
- Actively participates in quality improvement activities by demonstrating knowledge of organizational and departmental quality measures, instituting actions to reach desired benchmarks, and understanding the financial rewards or penalties associated with the outcomes.
- Stays current with profession through journals, professional organizations, continuing education, or networking with peers.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, radiation therapy, or healthcare/business related field.
- In lieu of Bachelor’s Degree, will consider graduates of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
- Current ARRT, RN, or healthcare/business related professional certification.
- 3 years clinical experience in a healthcare/business related field.
- Previous leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in healthcare/business related field.
- OCN or other Cancer Care related specialty certification.
- 3-5 years management experience.
- Oncology service line leadership experience.
- Nursing leadership experience.
