The Home team at LC is looking for a talented individual to elevate our resident and community experience in a values-based manner that is reflective of our purpose. In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the operational and financial performance of a region of apartment communities.
Who You Are:
- Leads a team of highly effective and collaborative Community Managers and their teams across a portfolio of Class A properties; coaches and develops teams to deliver exceptional internal and external guest experience, while achieving established revenue and NOI targets.
- Creates and oversees the effective implementation of targeted leasing and retention strategies, specifically supporting communities in active lease up.
- Analyzes and submits reporting on financial performance of a community, site appearance, property audits, and marketing or traffic related activities, adjusting operations to maximize results.
- Assists with hiring, training and general management of property staff and participates in the development of managerial and staff level training programs.
- Coordinates and manages the resolution of all resident related customer service issues, and when necessary, meets directly with residents to resolve issues.
- Prepares annual property operating budgets, monitors all purchases and expenses to ensure cost effectiveness and compliance with the budget to ensure NOI achievement.
- Identifies and reviews KPIs in order to direct initiatives that balance profitability and sustained growth.
- Ensures compliance with community rules, regulations and agreements, company policies and procedures, and governmental requirements.
- Works in conjunction with the Director, Redevelopment to implement and execute a preventive maintenance program to ensure structural, physical appearance, equipment, and safety issues are addressed and corrective actions are immediately implemented, if needed.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business administration, or related discipline preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive multi-family property/portfolio management experience.
- Portfolio-level leadership experience of Class A multifamily lease-ups, including pre-delivery planning experience.
- Track record of leading and developing highly performing, engaged teams.
- Strong financial acumen, including financial analysis and ability to manage operations to an annual budget.
- Demonstrated collaboration skills and ability to work well with both internal and cross-functional team members, as well as senior leaders within a matrixed organization.
- Outstanding customer service and experience delivery skills required.
- Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to coach and mentor a team of individuals are essential.
