Purpose of Role:
The role of the Alteryx Analyst is to take ownership of the current Alteryx UAT and Production environments, assess the process and procedures around the current setup, and enhance those processes and procedures to ensure a stable environment is established that also allows for future growth.
There will be a requirement to grow Alteryx’s usage within Marex, so collaboration and requirements gathering is required alongside working with multiple business areas to identify inefficient or siloed processes which could be migrated into Alteryx.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Technology, Finance, and Operations departments, to obtain a total picture of the trade flow and associated systems to identify where data flows from and to.
- Identify where Marex has cumbersome or high-risk manual processes which could be centralized and incorporated into Alteryx.
- Monitor and assess the Alteryx environment from a resource perspective, ensuring it can scale effectively.
- Ensure any workflows or processes migrated into Alteryx are documented with clear responsibilities defined between Technology and the business.
- Setup and define a change management process around Alteryx workflow, where changes are deployed to Production.
- Contribute to the continuous development and maintenance of a strong control environment.
- Provide training for team members on Alteryx workflows and issue management.
- Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges.
- Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.

Skills and Experience
- Certified in Alteryx Server Administration
- Financial services experience, using Alteryx for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Excellent Excel skills (preferably with some VBA knowledge, but not essential).
- Experience querying relational databases using SQL.
- Proven experience with REST APIs.
- Experience dealing with business stakeholders and migrating manual processes into Alteryx workflows.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Scripting skills, preferably Python and dealing with data (e.g., Numpy, Pandas).
- Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.
Salary Range: $100,000 to $150,000 per year base salary plus discretionary bonus
