About the role
Here's your chance to play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of a global leader. As the Assistant Finance Plant Controller for Reckitt, you're not just crunching numbers; you're fueling decisions that enhance our operational excellence and profitability. You'll work closely with the heart of our supply chain, providing insights that drive strategic actions and improve our gross margin. With your expertise, we can streamline our supply and procurement process, yielding high-impact results that resonate across our global market. Your responsibilities
- Oversee monthly close process, ensuring completeness and accuracy of account balances.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and quarterly balance sheet flux analysis.
- Timely completion of Supply reporting, including proper analysis of all Supply variances: Industrial P&L, Factory Operating Statement and Supply scorecard.
- Fixed cost management; including recommendations of possible opportunities for cost savings.
- Work with PPV Controller and Procurement team to understand and adequately communicate drivers for purchase price variances.
- Work with factory management team to implement best practices and controls to achieve factory objectives, including challenging when necessary.
- Lead annual business planning and quarterly forecast for the plant, providing timely and meaningful standards and analysis regarding status vs. plan and PY.
- Fixed Assets: Oversee capex, provide financial input and analysis for Capex requests, follow-up of approval process and ensure disposals are handled properly.
- Inventory: Perform analysis to ensure raw materials, packaging, WIP, and Finished Goods are correctly stated.
- Ensure site compliance with company policies and procedures.
The experience we're looking for
- BS in Accounting or Finance required. MBA/CPA preferred.
- 5 years' experience in accounting or finance. Manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of cost accounting and inventory accounting systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong analytical skills.
- SAP Software experience helpful.
- Ability to work well under pressure.

US salary ranges
USD $84,000.00 - $126,000.00
US pay transparency
The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
