Position Summary:
Center for Family Services is seeking an experienced Budget Analyst with knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial and business analysis. This individual will track and analyze revenue and expenses by program at the fund source level on a monthly basis and effectively uses technological tools and platforms to complete their work functions efficiently. The Budget Analyst communicates with Program Directors and Supervisors on a regular basis, analyzes and implements the process of developing and monitoring program budgets, supports programs, provides outstanding customer service in all agency interactions, and has outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Budget Analyst supports management of the organization through timely and accurate financial tracking, reporting, and analysis. The responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting in tracking all financial transactions impacting the organization, preparing and monitoring financial forecasts to ensure expenditures are within budget constraints, accurately recording and appropriately classifying and reconciling transactions by account. The Budget Analyst assists in fiscal operation management in developing and monitoring appropriate fiscal policy and implementation of procedures suitable to the program and agency budgetary needs. This individual shows consistent initiative in all position responsibilities including problem solving, identifying areas of improvement, and implementing innovative solutions as well as exercises effective time management skills. This individual has a strong commitment to personal and collective professional development and participates in continuing professional development opportunities. The Budget Analyst conducts self as a role model in interactions with staff, colleagues, and funding sources while displaying consistent ethical behavior and also respects the confidentiality of clients and staff by adhering to the Code of Ethics and Confidentiality Agreement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred; will consider equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience working with Budgets and Expense Reports
- Knowledge of Blackbaud software
- Excellent driving skills and current driver's license with a driving record of at least three years
- Vehicle with current insurance and registration
