Job Summary
Under general direction, the Vendor Partner Manager is responsible for performing all aspects of developing, recruitment and management of the Enterprise Services Partner Program. The incumbent will work closely and effectively with Sales and Operations to identify and secure partnerships in locations required to support ongoing client engagements.
Responsibilities
- Manage full cycle recruiting process to meet the various Partnership goals across all disciplines within Enterprise Services.
- Identify vacant geographic locations to obtain information about Partner needs and requirements.
- Collaborate closely with key Local Team leaders to understand their priorities and challenges.
- “Headhunting”, including sourcing Partners by using databases, social media etc., and identifying as well as approaching suitable Partners.
- Drive all aspects of the complex strategic Partner activation and onboarding process.
- Conduct interviews, assess Partner’s relevant capabilities, experience and aptitudes, check references, match Partners with opportunities and prepare shortlists of Partners for referral to Project managers.
- Act as a point of contact and build influential relationships with Partners for continued engagements.
- Improve organization attractiveness by promoting AFL’s reputation as “Best Place to Work” and emphasizing benefits and perks of becoming a Business Partner with AFL.
- Manage subcontractor relationships, effectively maintaining positive and ethical working relationships.
- Stay current with business trends as well as Program implementation best practices.
- Communicate effectively with the Sales Teams, Operational Leaders and Project Managers & all levels of management across the organization.
- Create and maintain a database of all Business Partners that is accessible to the entire organization.
- Manage and control all subcontracts documentation, data, files and reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Follow approved procurement practices consistent with corporate guidelines.
- Establish and manage a performance grading system for Partners upon completion of all engagements.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience working in a similar role within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Previous experience recruiting for skilled trades and labor positions would be a significant asset.
- Proven computer skills and previous experience using an activity tracking system.
- Exceptional telephone skills, with the ability to build rapport while conducting a high volume of calls daily.
- The ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information in a diplomatic and tactful manner is crucial.
- Ability to travel to various site-based projects.
Working Conditions
- Normal office environment.
- General hours of Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.
- Traveling will be required.
