What you will be doing
This associate supports the strategic financial management of Cencora’s largest customers in the Corporate Partnership's segment. Highly visible role that provides financial reporting to senior management and executives for decision making to ensure revenues, gross profit and expenses are meeting targets.
- Analyzes customer revenue trends and forecast future revenue expectations based on market data and customer specific purchasing patterns.
- Interacts with several cross functional departments such as sales, sourcing, supply chain, accounting to align and recommend financial expectations.
- Compiles data from various teams to generate a monthly forecast, annual budget, and long range plan to present with Business Leads and partners.
- Develops and prepares productivity and efficiency analysis for business sales segments.
- Interacts and partners with business segments teams on projects to address senior management requests.
- Improves/streamlines current financial reporting processes.
- Stays up to date on current healthcare trends and incorporates into analysis.
- Generates ad hoc analysis reports as needed.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
What your background should look like
Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of 2+ directly related and progressively responsible experience or a Master’s Degree.
- Knowledge of various financial management areas such as credit and collection principles, commercial credit, uniform commercial code, financial statement analysis, business law, plan development, productivity and profitability analysis.
- Understanding of ABC policies, philosophy, goals and objectives in order to affect financial oversight in protecting the company's assets.
- Working knowledge of accounting and planning software packages.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills; attention to detail.
- Ability to follow and interpret profit and loss statements.
- Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint.
