JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities:
- Prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles.
- Performs general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and other schedules.
- Performs duties related to month-end close in compliance with company deadlines.
- Assists in the documentation of accounting policies and projects.
- Provides resolution to an assortment of problems of moderately complex scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
- Assists with audit requests from both internal and external auditors.
- Actively participates in helping setup the team for success as we continue to grow at exponential levels. This includes identifying potential process improvements, implementing new technologies, and maximizing utilization of existing tools.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent required.
- Good time management and works well under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Master’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
