Position Summary: Altamira is hiring qualified Linguist/Language Analysts with proficient language capabilities in various languages including Chinese-Mandarin, Korean, and Russian.

Position Description:

Conduct translation, transcription, and summaries/gists of various language materials.
Leverage knowledge of language origins and cultural context to provide meaningful nuanced translations.
Conduct triage analysis on incoming language materials to determine priority and process accordingly.
Proficiently use various tools and databases to process language materials and annotate required data.
With a firm grasp of the English language, provide accurate translations in correct English grammar.

Required Qualifications:

Must have a TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph for consideration.
Two (2) or more years of experience conducting duties listed in the position description.
Must have current ILR scores of 2 or above in Listening AND Reading.
Due to Federal contract requirements for this role, we are only able to consider US citizens for this position.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience with various communications systems and ability to tailor collection.
Ability to conduct digital network analysis to facilitate/expand on collection activity.
Proficient in drafting summaries and reports on information from language materials.
